Job description

RECRUITMENTiQ is currently working in partnership with a rapidly expanding mortgage brokerage based in Hamilton, South Lanarkshire.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Search Marketing Executive to join our growing company. As a team, we pride ourselves on being driven, motivated, and ambitious.

We are seeking a talented, creative, and driven individual with a passion for SEO and PPC to join our marketing department.

You will be joining the company at a pivotal time where the company expands quickly and becomes an established name within the mortgage industry. 

The Role

In your role, you will be responsible for optimizing our website for search engine optimisation and creating and managing paid advertising campaigns consistent with our brand.

For an individual with a background in digital marketing, particularly within the financial services industry, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and rewarding organization and take on the following responsibilities:

  • Promoting paid content that performs within our marketing channels.
  • Optimising our website and search engine advertising.
  • Assisting with the creation and implementation of marketing strategies across social media, email, and other channels.
  • Analysing the performance and success of campaigns and making recommendations on how to optimise them.
  • Planning and executing optimised content that’s interesting and relevant to key moments in our target customers’ lives.
  • Research of market trends to spot key marketing opportunities.
  • Copywriting and proofreading engaging content to a high standard, and ensuring it is adherent to financial compliance regulations.
  • Working within budgets set by the Sales Director. 

To be successful in your application, candidates must have a passion for creating content and have an awareness of how to build a strong brand presence on a variety of digital channels as well as:

  • Ability to commute to and from our office space in Hamilton - this is not a remote position.
  • Qualification and/or proven work experience in Digital Marketing, Search Marketing, or a similar field.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Facebook Ads.
  • Working knowledge of SEO & PPC and paid social media.
  • Proven ability to deliver written content to a high standard for SEO, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to share ideas and concepts confidently.
  • ·Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Ability to plan and manage time effectively in a fast-paced work environment.

Knowledge of any of the following is not required, but is desirable:

  • Experience using Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Previous experience in the financial services industry and familiarity with financial compliance standards and FCA regulations.
  • Skills in web design.
  • Proven competence in blog writing and organic social media.
