The School
This school currently operates across four sites in Seoul and offers the English National Curriculum. The curriculum includes a diverse languages programme that includes Mandarin for all children from Nursery age upwards. The main emphasis is on providing a secure, fun and nurturing environment for all children to overcome challenge, develop individually and at their own pace. Each campus has its own distinctive ethos which, with the support of the local community, has evolved over time. However, all campuses share common aims and values.
Living and Working in Seoul
Seoul is at the forefront of technological innovation whilst preserving its vibrant historical traditions and enjoying a pleasantly clean environment for a city of its size. The city regularly hosts world class events in sports, music and the arts. The College is situated in Seocho District, just south of the Han River within easy reach of the city's many attractions and is well served by affordable and efficient public transport services. It will be possible to live well, explore the hidden treasures of a country ignored by mass tourism, whilst being centrally located for visiting China, Japan and other neighbouring Asian countries.
Requirements
- Teachers must be fully qualified with a Bachelor of Education and at least 2 years of experience.
- UK curriculum experience is essential, to A-level
- Will ideally have ESL training and experience
- Previous international experience, particularly in South Korea is also an advantage.
- Ability to communicate diplomatically and be able to work well in a team
- Open to learning and seeking advice
