Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a flexible, reliable and enthusiastic teacher to join a successful secondary academy in Trafford.
This a full-time long-term supply teacher role from January 2024 to April 2024 to cover a variety of subjects as a Cover Teacher.
The Role
Cover Teacher of all subjects
Ideally the school are looking for a full-time teacher but would consider four days a week.
The role will include:
- responsibility for teaching and learning.
- Delivering pre-planned lessons.
- Using your own subject knowledge and teaching skills to bring set work to life.
- Managing the behaviour within the classroom.
- Developing independent study skills and peer learning.
- Pastoral and learning support.
- Managing handover back to the absent teacher.
The cover will be across all subjects, but teachers of science, maths or humanities would be particularly helpful.
Ability to cover girls PE would also be beneficial but not essential.

- Hold QTS Status
