Job Opportunity: Humanities Teacher (Geography/History/RE)

Contract Type: Short/Medium Term (Covering Staff Absence)

Are you a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher with expertise in Geography, History, and Religious Education?

Reed Education North Wales is currently working with a reputable Secondary school in Ruthin and is seeking a qualified teacher to inspire and motivate students at key stages 3 and 4.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that foster inspiration and motivation among students.
• Assess and evaluate student progress, offering constructive feedback to both students and parents.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in Geography, History, and RE education, integrating new techniques and technologies into teaching practices when applicable.
• Cultivate a safe and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and self-expression.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience in teaching Geography, History, and RE to students of varying ages and abilities.
• Enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Reed).
• Education Workforce Council (EWC) membership.
• Right to work in the UK.
• NQTs are welcome.
