Duration: Long term with view to go permanent

Active Recruitment are working with an Outstanding mainstream Secondary school in Dagenham who are looking for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant to provide on-going care and support to a child in year 7 with a rare condition called Epidermolysis Bullosa, Full training will be given to ensure the right level of support is given to this pupil

The purpose of the role is to provide support to learners across key stage 3 and 4 who would benefit from targeted support, both in and out of the classroom.

• The confidence to work independently
• Excellent communication skills
• Skills to work appropriately and effectively with individual students
• Able to promote their social and emotional development
• Able to respond calmly and effectively to displayed behaviours
