We are recruiting for a PMLD Teaching Assistant at a secondary special needs schools across South East London for young people aged 11-19 with Autism, Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, PMLD, and Severe Learning Disabilities, SLD.
Starting in ASAP on a full time & long term, temp to perm basis.
PMLD Teaching Assistant at a special needsStarting in ASAP on a full time basis.Monday to Friday 9am - 3:30pm.Pay up £90 - £100 per dayYou will need to support young people with care as well as education.You will be working in groups of no more than 8 pupils at a time.Working closely with the class teacher and other TAs in your group to provide holistic support to your young people.Some pupils require Personal Care including toileting, changing and personal hygiene.Some require Moving & Handling support with wheelchairs and hoists.Most pupils are working on the Engagement Model of learning which focuses on 5 main areas: Exploration, Realisation, Anticipation, Persistence & Initiation.This is a special needs school in south Manchester for young people aged 11-19 with Autism, Complex Needs, Profound & Multiple Learning Difficulties, PMLD and Severe Learning Disabilities, SLD.Rated Outstanding by Ofsted.Collaborative, welcoming and inclusive team environment.Approachable management.To join us and be successful in this PMLD Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:
