TeacherActive are looking for a SEND TA / Teaching Assistant in Stonehouse to work in a school which caters for children and young people with special educational needs between the ages 2 and 19 years, with accommodation for up to 100 pupils.

We are looking for a SEND TA / Teaching Assistant to cover day to day, short term and long term placements supporting children in an environment that is tailored to meet their individual needs. This is a great chance to gain an abundance of experience to add to your profile and keep everyday exciting.

The ideal SEND TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following:

• Minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational setting
• Be calm, patient and caring
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis

In return the successful SEND TA / Teaching Assistant will receive:

• £76 - £88 daily rate
• Support from a dedicated team of consultants

All of our supply staff are paid on a PAYE basis, so you can rest assured that you’re paying the right level of Tax and National Insurance and there’s no messing around with admin charges coming out of your hard earned cash.
