Secondary SEMH Teacher
Are you a Secondary Teacher with strong behaviour management skills, looking to make the move in to Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs education?
A large SEMH school in Stoke on Trent are looking for a teacher with strong behaviour management skills to work with their Key Stage 3 pupils and Key Stage 4 who have SEMH needs, including Autism, Mental Health needs, and ADHD. The classes are small, with around 6 pupils, and extensive Teaching Assistant support.
We would like to hear from you if you have a passion for inspiring pupils with cognition and learning difficulties or with social, emotional and mental health disabilities. Are you committed in differentiating and adapting learning methods to suit the individual needs of pupils?
What we are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher with SEN experience
- Sound background in secondary or SEN education, in any subject area
- Able to hold student attention and focus with excellent interpersonal skills
- Effective behaviour management skills
