SalaryStep Teachers are looking to locate an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant for a long-term role that could go on to a permanent role.
The students are all the inheritors of the great ideas, writings, and discoveries of the past and the young people of Plymouth have a right to learn this knowledge. By learning the curriculum, the pupils will be provided with the knowledge and skills to suceed in life and make a positive contribution to society.
Role:
Able to support the students in the class under the direction of the class teacher
Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with accessible resources where needed
Work effectively with other members of staff in the classroom and throughout the school
Ability to support students and encourage their progression
Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively
Requirements:
Recent experience working in a primary school or with school-aged children
A relevant Level 2 or 3 qualification is desirable
SEND experience is desirable
- Living within or commutable distance from Plymouth
