We are seeking a dedicated Spanish Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis for maternity cover. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Spanish lessons across a range of year groups, from Junior to Sixth Form, and will play a key role in continuing our tradition of academic excellence.
Day-to-day of the role:- Delivering Spanish lessons to students from KS2 to KS5, ensuring a high standard of education.
- Planning, preparing, and presenting lessons that cater to the needs of the entire ability range within the class.
- Monitoring the progress of students and providing feedback to encourage a high level of academic achievement.
- Creating and maintaining a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and is age-appropriate.
- Collaborating with other staff members to plan and coordinate work.
- Participating in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.
- A recognised teaching qualification in Spanish.
- Experience teaching Spanish across a range of year groups.
- Strong knowledge of the Spanish curriculum for KS2 to KS5.
- Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of all levels.
