My client, a Reading based local authority, seek a Section 106 Monitoring Officer or Community Infrastructure (CIL) Officer to start an ongoing temp booking asap!
This post is required to ensure that the important role of monitoring the collection of infrastructure contributions continues during a period of long-term sickness. It would work jointly with the Principal Infrastructure Monitoring Officer and report to the Planning Policy Manager. The role can be undertaken largely remotely.
The main tasks will be
• Monitoring, reporting and enforcement of the requirements of Section 106 legal agreements, including financial contributions; and
• Monitoring, reporting and enforcement of the collection of the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL).
We require a person who:
• Has previous experience of monitoring and collecting financial contributions under both CIL and Section 106; and
• Preferably is familiar with the Exacom software package that the Council uses.
