SalaryWe are currently looking for a Section Engineer for a large infrastructure scheme in the Carlisle area.
Must have previous Tier 1 contractor experience, ideally experience working within the Energy space of Civil Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish safe working culture and practice
- Set up the RAMS
- Comply with company procedures and legal obligations
- Promote and comply with environmental compliance
- Comply with company procedures
- Endeavour to spot and highlight value engineering opportunities
- Establish the level and survey control for subcontracts
- Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings, ensuring checks are carried out on a regular
- basis
- Ensure that records are accurate and comply with organisational and legal requirements
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise at any time
- Produce procurement schedules for the jobs and liaise with PD to ensure site have adequate
- resources to complete the tasks
- Produce ITP's and Task Briefings
- Produce Site Diaries and Allocation Sheets
The successful candidate is likely to meet all of the following criteria:
- CSCS
- SMSTS
- Lift supervisor
- Temporary works supervisor/coordinator
