SalaryAre you ready for a new challenge? Fawkes and Recce are looking for a Section Engineer to work with a major leading Civil Engineering and Building Contractors operating throughout the UK. Competitive basic salary with 34 days holiday, private healthcare and subsistence allowance.
We are seeking to recruit a Section Engineer immediately to be site-based working in Carlisle, North West to join their project team which is delivering the civils works on a major new substation. You will be offered responsibility to comfort you, depending in which direction you are looking to lead your career with.
Your core duties will include, Reporting into the Section Manager, the Section Engineer will also be responsible for ensuring that all works, including those of suppliers and subcontractors are coordinated to deliver on safety, quality and environmental objectives.
The Project!
200million pound major Substation which has been in service since the 1960's and as the equipment on site gets older, technology advances and demand on the electricity network increases, Our Tier 1 contractor will need to replace infrastructure and increase its capacity. Connecting supplies between Scotland to England. This work is part of National Grid's contribution to the Government's target to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2050, having this experience read on a any CV will look great to be targeted by the markets competitors for future major works.
