Job Description
- Lead and manage the Incident Response and Threat Hunting team, providing strategic direction and ensuring alignment with organisational security objectives.
- Develop and implement comprehensive Incident Response plans and procedures, ensuring timely and effective response to security incidents.
- Conduct proactive threat-hunting activities to identify and neutralise potential threats before they can impact critical systems and data.
- Analyse and investigate security incidents, determining root causes and taking appropriate corrective actions.
- Collaborate with other security teams and stakeholders to ensure a coordinated and effective response to cyber threats.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest cyber threats and trends, implementing new technologies and methodologies to enhance the team's capabilities.
- Develop and deliver training programs to security staff on Incident Response and Threat-hunting best practices.
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in Incident Response and Threat-hunting methodologies.
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security frameworks and best practices.
