Job description

We are looking for 3 experienced trainers to join our new Adult Skills Team. Specialists in the areas of Engineering, Digital, Care and Life Sciences you will be responsible for managing training programs for adults, developing courses that help people get into work or upskill into greater employment opportunities. In addition to these subjects we are also keen to speak to people with experience of training within green skills / sustainability and hospitality sectors.

Reporting to the Director of Adult Skills you can be based at either of our Solihull Campuses: Woodlands or Blossomfield or at our Stratford-Upon-Avon Campus. You will be expected to network with key civic and employer stakeholders across the West Midlands and Warwickshire region to develop and deliver high quality courses in skills priority areas.

You will collaborate closely with external referral partners and our internal marketing team to develop strategies for attracting learners to the courses as well as collaborating with employers to develop courses such as bootcamps to help businesses increase their talent pipeline and skills capabilities.

Candidates will have a strong understanding of adult learning principles, curriculum development, and program evaluation. In addition to this they will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience of strategic planning, budget management, and resource allocation is essential. Candidates should be educated to Level 3 or equivalent and it would be desirable to hold a teaching qualification and assessor award.
