Security Architect

Security Architect Inside IR35
Contract Term: end of March ‘24

Location: Hybrid - Manchester

As a Security Architect, your main responsibilities will be: 
•    Work with Security Architecture team on triage of requests to the team mailbox.
•    Respond to requests providing guidance and signposting to advice.
•    Identify gaps in current advice.
•    Working to align with CISO Priorities
•    Advise diverse services and portfolios of work on security best practice.  Liaising with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Working to align with CISO Priorities
•    Identify key stakeholders for portfolios and services.
•    Document current state architecture.
•    Document target architecture.
•    Provide recommendations to stakeholders based on best practice using DfE common components and tooling.
•    Working to align with CISO Priorities

You’ll have relevant experience in:
•    Technical knowledge of security technologies.
•    Understanding of security risks in cloud environments.
•    Understands that architecture is about more than just technology.
•    Understands key security concepts.
•    Understands security controls and controls frameworks.
•    Working within multi-disciplinary teams.
•    Working with stakeholders at all levels.
•    Working/liaising with suppliers.
•    Conducting architecture discovery activities.
•    Creating architecture artefacts, documentation, designs, etc.
•    Technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
•    Understanding of cloud architecture and best practices.
