Salary About the RoleWe have some amazing Apprenticeship opportunities for people with a passion for helping others to start a career as an apprentice within Security Monitoring. No experience, what we ask is that you have a passion to learn, with energy and drive to get things done.
We will provide you with full training and support you will require to be a success in the role. You will be enrolled onto the Security Control Room Apprenticeship, which is 12 months (with an additional 3 months for the end point assessment) and assigned a coach to provide guidance and support. This apprenticeship is all on the job, with no requirement to visit local college.

Salary: Starting at £24,500 with incremental increase upon completion of training modules and subject to performance, competency, absence record etc. We are proud to be a Real Living Wage employer.
Shift pattern: 12 Hours on a 4-day rolling period. (4 Days On, 4 Days Off). We operate 24/7, 365 days a year. Day Shift: 6AM to 6PM, Evening Shift: 6PM to 6AM
Job OpportunityWhat you will do…
Effectively process alarm activations across a variety of platforms in accordance with customer-defined specifications ensuring a duty of care to all staff.Manage mobile alarm call outs and provide solutions in a timely manner.Monitor CCTV and respond to all customer requests relating to their alarm system and escalate issues accordingly.Answer all calls promptly with a high level of customer service, giving assistance to internal and external customers, including liaising with third parties and contractors, as required.Ensure that all systems/databases are updated in a timely and accurate manner.Responsible for the provision of appropriate responses to alarm systems and despatch of emergency services.Assistance / coverage during adverse weather conditions and other emergencies.Provide standby coverage on all days allocated.Provide client reports.
Essential SkillsWhat you will need…
You must be 18 years+ in age.Must have a C or higher grade in English or Math, if not, you can complete your Maths or English whilst on the course.Excellent customer service skills - Able to communicate at all levels.Willingness to learn.Ability to work as part of a team.
