Security Officer - 32 Hours Per Week - Days

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Security Officer who would like to work at one of our sites within the Hackney area to join our company. You will demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.

Position: Security Officer
Location: Hackney (E8)
Pay Rate: £11.95 per hour Rising to £13.15 April 1st
Hours: 42 hours per week
Shifts: 4 on 4 Off- 1200 to 2000
Job Role / Requirements:
SIA Licence required
Security and customer service experience is required
Must have good command of English language
Excellent levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
Flexible in the approach to daily duties
Working alongside building management to ensure a welcoming environment for all
Enforcing policies and procedures
First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
Must have five years of checkable work history
About You:
Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
Confident in writing incident and shift reports
The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service at all times ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.
To have a smart appearance befitting the company
Be confident you are able to undertake 100% of all specific duties
