AddressWe are currently recruiting a Security Officer to work on a high-profile site in Scarborough.
This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on a busy mining site, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. The rate of pay is £13 per hour.
This is a full-time position, working a split shift pattern. You will cover Monday to Friday shifts, working 8 hours per day. You will have to work the below hours per shift:
05:00 - 09:00
16:00 - 20:00
Please note, due to the requirements of this role you must hold a Full, Clean UK Driving License.
Your Time at Work
As a Security Officer, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.
Other duties will include:
Unlocking & locking of the building
Handover responsibilities to and from the reception team at 08:00hrs and 17:00 hrs respectively
To greet any visitors out of hours and facilitate them meeting their site sponsor.
Complete any ad hoc tasks in relation to the general running of the building as directed. For example, escorting contractors or taking delivery of goods on behalf of others.
Act as the on-duty fire marshal
Monitoring of staff who may be loan working or using the sites Gym facility and be the on site first aider in the event of a medical incident.
Monitoring of the assets and property for safety and security including patrols of the car park and perimeter.
Our Perfect Worker
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. Good IT knowledge is also key.
It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA license, however, it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) license training.
