We are currently recruiting for Security Officers to join our team at Warrenpoint Harbour, you will be a key part of the team, assuring that the area is safe and secure at all times.
Excellent Rate of Pay, with hours to suit both day time and night time workers. mileage included full training is provided and career progression encouraged, working with some of the best in security you will be in safe hands joining a team committed to providing excellence in Security Solutions
The position is varied and will require you to carry out the following duties, on numerous sites across the Harbour Site
The role will require you to be flexible Monday to Sunday, to work 12 hour shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis. This will also be covering night shifts.
Previous experience in security is not a must, but if you're already working in the industry, or have before, we welcome you to join our team. We know you'll get off to a flying start!
We also welcome people who have worked previously in retail, travel, sales or hospitality - jobs that rely on delivering great service. If you've done this type of work before, then you may have skills that would suit and as we provide full training, we'll help you pivot your skills into a new career.
A typical week will involve visiting a range of sites within your area; ensuring the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. Other elements of the role will include:
- Building relationships with employers and community organisations
- Working as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements
- Covering three different sites, this is a varied role where you’ll conduct vehicle checks, operate weighbridge gatehouse duties, record temperature monitoring and have fire marshal responsibilities.

The Ideal Candidate
You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have security experience an your SIA licence, and full Driving License
