Security Operations Engineer - Remote

Reed Technology are delighted to be working with an industry leading Bristol based organisation with their search for a Security Operations Engineer to join their fantastic team

Remote Working Available Salary GBP55,000-GBP70,000

Key Responsibility:

• Designing, implementing, and managing security solutions across the organisations infrastructure - ensuring the protection of sensitive data, systems, and applications• implementing new security technology and focusing on security trends, analyse cyber landscape, and ensure effective protection and defence to emerging threats• This is a role that will involve driving transformation, the post holder must be experienced in identifying, and owning change with a track record in a high-level of delivery

What are we looking for?

• Candidate will be experienced in a broad variety of technology including Azure, 365 E5 products, Internet protection, Vulnerability management, SIEM, Firewalls, CASB, WAF and EDR products• Experience in configuring and securing Cloud, SaaS, Endpoint and On-Premises solutions• A proven record of delivering a highly professional standard technology solutions at a significantly sized organisation and exposure to transformation in Professional or Managed Services is preferred• Experience in managing, supporting, and improving enterprise security solutions with a strong understanding of the impact of these changes• Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving & delivery skills coupled with a good understanding of ITIL support processes• Experience in implementing, customising, and supporting third party systems including managing suppliers to delivery
