SEMH Science Teacher - Thurrock
Are you a fully UK qualified SEN Science Teacher who is searching for a new and exciting challenge?
The school provides full-time education for Key Stage 2 - Key Stage 5 pupils, and has a small capacity overall as well as small individual class sizes. As a SEN Science Teacher, you will be teaching pupils presenting with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) needs, and children with an Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). Pupils excel at the school, both academically and socially.
The Head Teacher is searching for a creative and experienced SEN Science Teacher, who has good knowledge of SEN, and is therefore confident within a SEN classroom, and able to hit the ground running from day one.
Applicants for the SEN Science Teacher role will have a full UK QTS and be able to teach to a high standard. In return, the school's SLT will provide the SEN Science Teacher with plenty of support, additional training and development opportunities to further hone your existing skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
SEMH Science Teacher
Teaching pupils from KS2 - KS5
Working with children who have SEMH needs, or ASC
To deliver challenging and creative Science lessons
Person Specification:
Must have UK QTS
Experienced SEN Teachers only
Excellent subject knowledge including SEN
You will need to have a proven track record of delivering high quality lessons
Passionate, positive & team player required
Confident & strong classroom management skills
