Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with SEMH needs, both in and out of the classroom.
- Assist in the implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior plans.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and other staff members to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
- Encourage and promote social and emotional well-being among students.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children or young people with SEMH needs is highly desirable.
- Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, resilience, and the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of children with special needs.
