SEMH Teaching Assistant
Responsibilities
- Work with children aged between Reception - KS2 years old with SEMH needs
- Small classrooms with high staff to pupil ratio to encourage a more individualised approach to learning
- Be a fundamental part of the cognitive and emotional upbringing of children with SEMH needs
- Plan and deliver specialised teaching material to children
- Have full support from the School's SENDco team
- Full-Time position working Monday to Friday from 8.30 to 3.30
SEMH Teaching Assistant
Requirements
- Have work experience with children who have SEMH difficulties or other special educational needs
- MUST HAVETeam Teach training
- Have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team patience, empathy and a positive attitude
