SalaryAre you an ACCA part-qualified Accountant seeking an exciting new role? Reed are delighted to be working with a five-partner accountancy firm based near Liverpool Street who are seeking a Part Qualified Accountant to join their energetic team. The role is well suited to someone with at least two and a half years experience working in practice who is studying for their ACCA qualification.
You will be joining the Accounts team which is led by 3 partners, each of whom manager a sub-team of around 4. Within your team, you will report directly to a Partner, and your role will predominantly be made up of production of statutory and management accounts. There will also be responsibility for bookkeeping and VAT and will get exposure to seasonal audit work too.
The role is fully office based as the team nurture a social and collaborative environment, where colleagues genuinely want to work with one another in the office.
Responsibilities include:
- Statutory accounts preparation
- Management accounts preparation
- Some audit work (no experience required)
- Bookkeeping
- VAT returns
Requirements
- ACCA studier
- At least 3 years’ practice experience
- Past experience using Xero, Iris, or CCH desirable
- Past audit experience desirable but not essential
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
