About the Role:
This is an opportunity to join on of our team based in Lancaster. You will work in a supportive environment with exposure to a diverse client base including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies and charities.
Role responsibilities;
- Preparation of financial statements in accordance with relevant procedures & standards
- Preparation of Tax Returns
- Establishing and maintain strong relationships with a diverse portfolio of clients
- Mentoring junior members of the team and reviewing management accounts, month end reconciliations and bookkeeping work produced by the team
- Carrying out assignments in a timely, professional and efficient manner
- Keeping up to date with changes to accounting standards and regulations and ensuring that clients are informed and compliant
About You:
- Part-Qualified or Qualified Accountant
- Competent user of accounting software such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks
- Be passionate about customers and service, with a strong will to make a difference
- To be self-motivated, prioritising and multitasking effectively
