Semi-Skilled Mechanical Engineer

We need a semi-skilled workshop engineer to join our Kintore site to maintain, service, repair and refurbish the company’s assets, ensuring the standards set by the company are met on all occasions.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out the maintenance, service, repair and refurbishment to company assetsEnsure the correct and safe use of all tools supplied by the companyUnder the guidance of the workshop manager, work to keep the depots backlog at the figure set by the company, whilst not jeopardising qualityMaintain the workshop and yard in a clean, tidy and safe condition.All equipment spare parts booked out on relevant paperworkJob cards completed detailing all elements of job completed, for example, amount of time undertaken on the jobAt all times work in accordance with the company QHSE proceduresWhat We’re Looking ForHave the ability to be flexible around working hoursBasic knowledge of compressed air and steam equipment – PreferredHave completed some training in a mechanical disciplineAbility to work to workshop deadlinesAble to work on own initiative with minimal supervisionWhat We Can Offer You25 days annual leave + bank holidaysCompany PensionLife Assurance coverSave As You Earn SchemeCycle to work schemeFree on site parkingFree Tool HireTraining & Development OpportunitiesRegular Discounts (eg.
