This fantastic Primary School based in Dudley is looking for a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to join them. Receiving a "GOOD" in their last Ofsted report, this school has the children at heart of all that they do. Their aim is to provide the very best education for our children in a setting where all members of the school community are enabled to fulfil their potential and are valued in a secure and safe environment.
Your new role
You will be working from Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm. In your role, you will be working with a small group of KS1 and KS2 children with SEN and additional needs. Within the small group, you will be providing 1:1 support. You will be tracking the children's progression and giving feeding back to the teacher and SENCO on the children's progression.What you'll need to succeed
- You must have 2 years' experience in a classroom setting.
- You must have a Level 2 or Level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
- You must have experience working with children with SEN and additional needs.
- You will need strong communication skills, especially when working with groups of children, and 1:1.
