Supply Desk, a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a qualified SEN Art Teacher for a temporary position in Haywards Heath. This role is ideal for an experienced and dedicated teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) who has a passion for working with students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality art lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
- Collaborate with the SEN department and other staff members to support the overall development and well-being of students.
- Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Previous experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, particularly in the field of Art.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
Contract Details:
- Temporary position up until Easter.

- Competitive salary paid to scale.
