Salary: 34000 - 36000

As a SEN Deputy Head, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting the Head of School to ensure the quality of education is delivered to a high standard and students are supported accordingly.
- Ensuring the school is always compliant with the Independent School Standards.
- Ensuring those with SEND are provided effective interventions and reasonable adjustments are implemented.
- Ensuring safeguarding practices are effective and additional training implemented where required.
- Working closely with the Head of School, regional and national staff to drive school improvement.
The successful SEN Deputy Head will have the following skills/experience:
- Fully qualified Teacher with 5-10 years experience in a secondary school setting
- Experience of working with SEN pupils
- Strategic thinker who continually assesses new processes to improve outcomes
- An excellent communicator with patience to create positive conclusions for any challenges
- A passion for education to foster the love of learning and provide young people with a stimulating environment to flourish
