Sen Deputy Head

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a talented Senior Teacher with leadership experience who aspires to become a SENDeputy Head. The successful candidate will have proven experience within SEN and have the mindset of bringing positive strategies within this provision.

Salary: 34000 - 36000

Location: Northampton

As a SEN Deputy Head, you will be responsible for:

• Supporting the Head of School to ensure the quality of education is delivered to a high standard and students are supported accordingly.
• Ensuring the school is always compliant with the Independent School Standards.
• Ensuring those with SEND are provided effective interventions and reasonable adjustments are implemented.
• Ensuring safeguarding practices are effective and additional training implemented where required.
• Working closely with the Head of School, regional and national staff to drive school improvement.

The successful SEN Deputy Head will have the following skills/experience:

• Fully qualified Teacher with 5-10 years experience in a secondary school setting
• Experience of working with SEN pupils
• Strategic thinker who continually assesses new processes to improve outcomes
• An excellent communicator with patience to create positive conclusions for any challenges
• A passion for education to foster the love of learning and provide young people with a stimulating environment to flourish
