We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN LSA to join our supportive team in Croydon. This role is ideal for individuals who have a passion for inclusive education and the drive to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.
Day-to-day of the role:
Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN, ensuring their educational needs are met.
Assist teachers in lesson delivery and adapt materials to suit individual learning requirements.
Provide necessary physical and personal care to students, as needed.
Monitor and document student progress, sharing updates with teachers and parents.
Engage in team meetings and commit to ongoing professional development.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Real desire for working with children in education.
Proven experience working with students with SEN, in either a paid or voluntary capacity.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with students, staff, and parents.
A patient, supportive, and nurturing approach to student development.
