Provide a range of educational, residential and medical services to support adults and young people age ranged between 9-25 years old with complex needs, including learning disabilities, epilepsy and autism.
Due to the expansion of a cheshire based school/ college, Teacheractive are currently recruiting Permenant Learning Support Assistants to work with our students as they start their educational journey in the school/college.
Ideally you will be an individual with a caring and adaptable approach to your work who maintains a positive attitude at all times. Quick to act on your own initiative you will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and be an effective team player..
Supporting our students in timetabled sessions and activities, you will be required to:
- Support learning and development,
- Encourage independence and choice,
- Help to build self-esteem,
- Raise confidence and explore vocational and employment choices.
This role will include positive behaviour management and supporting students with their personal care where necessary. Experience is not essential as full training is given.
