Job Title: Supply Teacher - Specialist SEN Schools (Day-to-Day Basis)
Location: Swindon
Pay Range: 130 - 150 per day
Working Hours: 08:30 AM - 04:00 PM (full day)
Are you a dedicated and experienced teacher seeking a rewarding opportunity in Specialist SEN Schools in Swindon? We are currently looking for enthusiastic Supply Teachers to provide day-to-day cover in our specialised SEN Schools. As a Supply Teacher, you will play a vital role in ensuring a supportive and engaging learning environment for our students. This position offers a competitive daily rate of 130 - 150 and flexible working hours from 08:30 AM to 04:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver effective, inclusive, and engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with special educational needs.
Maintain a Positive Learning Environment: Foster a positive and supportive learning atmosphere within the classroom, promoting the social, emotional, and academic development of all students.
Adaptability: Be adaptable and able to quickly familiarize yourself with the school's policies, routines, and individual student needs.
Effective Communication: Work closely with teaching assistants, support staff, and other teachers to ensure a collaborative approach to student progress.
Assessment and Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate their progress to the relevant parties when required.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Experience working in Special Educational Needs settings is highly desirable.
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff and parents.
- Valid DBS check (or willing to undergo one).
