SalaryA processing dairy are looking to recruit a Team Leader for their site in Keighley. The business produces and distributes milk, along with other associated dairy products, throughout Yorkshire and the surrounding area,.
The role is permanent and is a key link within the dairy operation, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities:
- To oversee and help maintain an efficient production line by communicating with other team members
- Maintain and educate team members about the prefered company Health and Safety policies and procedures
- Manage the efforts and delegate tasks so that the team can meet production targets
- The filling and packing of finished products, including quality control checks and C.I.P.
- To monitor operatives and covering each area during morning and afternoon breaks
- To assist and manage the unloading of wagoons to ensure they are completed on time
- To record hourly checks and monitoring on appropriate documentation
This is a hands on role and the successful applicant will need to be physically fit as it may involve loading/checking vehicles when necessary.
This is a full time position based on around 48 hour working week, working 4 out of 6 days, which might include some of the Saturdays. Bank holidays will be included in the working week. A company pension scheme is in place.
