SalaryWe are recruiting for 5 day Teaching Assistants to start ASAP. The role would be to work in a Primary school which provides specialist education for children with Special Education Needs aged 3-11.
The education provider follows a well designed curriculum with is broad, balanced and relevant to each individual child.
A successful candidate would have:
- Experience supporting students with SEMH and SEND needs.
- Experience in an educational setting within the last 2 years.
- Experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months.
- Experience working with Early Years, KS1 and KS2 pupils.
- Has a passion for making a difference.
- You must be confident, caring, and assertive personality.
What to expect:
- Working in these settings requires patience, confidence, and a caring attitude as many of these students have difficult social, emotional, and mental health issues which need to be managed.
- You will be expected to support any pupils with their physical needs including mobility support and personal care.
- You will be supporting pupils with reading, writing, creativity and mathematics as well as supporting them to engage in play and physical development.
Requirements:
- Team Teach qualification (desirable).
- Moving & handling training (desirable).
- Available for 5 days work.
- x2 references.
- Experience working within education or care in the UK in the last 12 months
Rate of pay is dependent on current grade, experience and payroll method.
