Sen Support Worker

Job Overview:

Integra Education is seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Support Worker to join our team. This role involves providing personalized support to a pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and a Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) profile.

As a 1:1 Support Worker, you will be more than just a support provider; you will be a trusted friend and confidant. You will engage in daily activities with the pupil, fostering a supportive and enjoyable environment.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of resources and activities for each week, tailored to the pupils needs and interests
• Assisting with daily routines and educational tasks
• Participating in fun activities such as doing makeup and making bracelets for concerts
• Building a trusting relationship through consistent and empathetic interaction
• Encouraging social and emotional development

Requirements:

• Experience working with pupils who have high-level anxiety (social anxiety and history of panic attacks), ASD with PDA profile and Masking.
• Driving licence and access to own vehicle
• Previous experience working in the same or similar role is advantageous
• Collect educational attainment evidence from 1-1 sessions
