Remedy Education are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teacher to join a designated special provision, in a local SEN primary school in Southwark. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality education to students with special educational needs and a commitment to making a positive impact on their lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to the needs of students with special educational needs;Assessing and monitoring student progress, and using this information to inform future planning and delivery;Working closely with the SENCo, classroom teachers, and support staff to ensure that the needs of all students are met;Communicating effectively with parents and carers, and keeping them informed of their child's progress;Supporting and guiding teaching assistants, and working as part of a team to provide the best possible outcomes for students;Participating in professional development opportunities to further enhance your skills and knowledge in the field of SEN teaching.Requirements:
A relevant teaching qualification and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS);Previous experience teaching students with special educational needs, and a strong understanding of different types of SEN and how they impact learning;The ability to plan and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons, and to assess and monitor student progress effectively;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues;A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special educational needs.Remedy Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.
