ABC Teachers is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Needs Teacher to work at SEN School in Wolverhampton on a part-time basis.
About the role
- As an SEN Teacher, you will play a crucial role in creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse learning needs.
- Deliver lessons that accommodate various learning styles and abilities, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to succeed.
- The successful candidate will have the ability to differentiate instruction, provide personalized support, and collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and support staff.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Working to stay current with best practices and research in the field of special education, and run additional CPD.
- Design and implement effective IEPs tailored to meet the unique needs of each student with special education requirements.
- Keen to demonstrate flexibility in adapting teaching techniques, materials, and assessments to accommodate various learning styles and abilities within the classroom.

Requirements
- Have a suitable qualification for working with children and young people such as Health and Social Care, Children and Young People's Workforce.
- Have experience of working with children with special education needs and disabilities.
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
- Two years teaching students with Special Educational Needs.
