Position: SEN Teacher Assistant
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £80-£100pd
Start Date: ASAP starts available / September 2024
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist the SEN Teacher in delivering individualised education plans (IEPs) and tailored learning activities
- Assisting with classroom management and ensure a positive, inclusive learning atmosphere
- Provide dedicated support to individual students
- Help prepare teaching materials and resources that cater to the specific needs of SEN students
- Observe and track student progress
- Foster a nurturing environment that encourages confidence, independence, and social development
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure holistic support for each student
You will have:
- Qualifications in special education or related fields are an advantage
- Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with special needs
- Ability to adjust to the diverse needs of students and work effectively as part of a team
