Responsibilities:

  • Develop individualised learning plans for SEN, considering their specific beads, strengths and areas of development

  • Plan and deliver lessons through designing and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities of students with SEN

  • Assess and monitor progress by regularly assessing and monitoring students progress, using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.

  • Keep records of their achievements, challenges, and individualised target

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional development

  • Maintain open and effective communication channels with parents/guardians, sharing progress updates, discussing concerns and collaborating on strategies to support students' learning and development.


Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Special Education Needs

  • Experience working with students with a variety of SEN requirements

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment

  • A patient, empathetic, and inclusive approach, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Passion for SEN education, with a drive to empower students and help them achieve their full potential
