Responsibilities:
- Develop individualised learning plans for SEN, considering their specific beads, strengths and areas of development
- Plan and deliver lessons through designing and delivering engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities of students with SEN
- Assess and monitor progress by regularly assessing and monitoring students progress, using a variety of formative and summative assessment methods.
- Keep records of their achievements, challenges, and individualised target
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social and emotional development
- Maintain open and effective communication channels with parents/guardians, sharing progress updates, discussing concerns and collaborating on strategies to support students' learning and development.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Special Education Needs
- Experience working with students with a variety of SEN requirements
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Passionate about creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment
- A patient, empathetic, and inclusive approach, coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for SEN education, with a drive to empower students and help them achieve their full potential
