Vida Education are working with a small Alternative Provision in Blackpool who are currently looking for a qualified teacher for a full time cover this summer term. The school has 15 children in place at present aged 11 - 16 and follow a tailored learning pathway with each pupil to ensure that they achieve the best qualifications possible (a mixture of GCSEs and Functional Skills).

Working on a one to one basis, with all the children, the SEN Teacher will be required to deliver the curriculum following the schools standards as well as completing a learning journey for each pupil as they progress.

You will need prior experience in a similar environment and a really passion for helping pupils.

In this SEN Teacher role, you will:

• Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons aligned with the UK Curriculum
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
• Assess progress and track achievement in core subjects and functional skills

We are looking for someone who:

• Holds a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has a strong understanding of the UK Curriculum and various SEN needs
• Possesses excellent communication, differentiation, and assessment skills
• Is passionate about creating a nurturing and supportive learning environment
• Has a flexible and adaptable approach, able to think creatively and solve problems effectively
• Previous experience within SEN is desirable
