Position: SEN Teacher (Year 7 - Primary Curriculum) As an SEN Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education to Year 7 students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. Your expertise will guide and inspire students, helping them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons based on the primary curriculum.
- Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of SEN and SEMH students.
- Collaborate with support staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Implement and track Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for each student.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred.
- Proven experience teaching in an SEN or SEMH setting.
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
- Adaptability and creativity in delivering lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
