Empowering Learning are seeking dynamic and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team to work in schools in the borough of Barnet North/ North-West London.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting Classroom Activities
Assist teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessons, providing support to students as needed.

One-on-One Support
Work closely with individual students, providing additional support to enhance their learning experience.

Resource Preparation
Prepare and organize teaching materials, ensuring classrooms are well-equipped for effective learning.

Supervision
Monitor student behaviour and contribute to the maintenance of a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Collaboration
Collaborate with teaching staff to develop and implement strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.

Assessment Assistance
Support in the assessment process, including marking and providing constructive feedback to students.

Requirements

Degree Qualification
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Passion for Education
A genuine interest in contributing to the educational development of secondary school students.

Excellent Communication Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students and colleagues.

Team Player
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

Adaptability
Flexibility to adapt to the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a secondary school.
