The Governors seek to appoint an excellent and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant who can join our professional, friendly and hardworking staff team. This post is to support pupils with additional needs. The job will consist of two posts, 17.5 GTA SEN hours per week Monday to Friday mornings 9-12 and Monday afternoon 13:00-15:30 and 2.5 hours per week Midday Supervisor Assistant.
The position is to commence as soon as possible and is fixed term until July 2024 but is likely to be extended.
The role will involve working with individual pupils and small groups of pupils under the direction of the class teacher. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher and other support staff and should ideally have experience of working with children with special educational needs and ASD.
