Salary Role: Teaching Assistant
Full-Time Position - Monday to Friday (part time roles are also available)
Salary: £85 - 120 per day

A team of passionate educators in Barnsley are looking for dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants!
Ignite your passion for transforming lives at a specialised institution for pupils ages 3-19 with severe and complex needs. As a crucial part of an inclusive model, you'll contribute to a positive and supportive learning environment, providing SEN pupils with stability in their education.
Responsibilities:
Provide one-on-one and group support.
Assist in implementing individualized education plans.
Contribute to a positive, inclusive atmosphere.
Collaborate with teachers and staff to create an optimal learning environment.
Aid in classroom activities and organization.
Support students in developing social skills and positive behaviour to assist them inside and outside of the classroom.
Requirements:
Though part time roles are available, Monday to Friday availability is preferred.
Passion for supporting children with complex needs.
Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
A strong understanding of autism and related behaviours
Qualifications:
Relevant experience in education or support work
Additional training in supporting pupils with SEN needs.
Moving and handling training would be advantageous.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
