Form of workWe are looking for a qualified and experienced Nursery Practitioner Level 3 to join our team here at Maple Tree. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework and Child Development. The role is working as a Nursery Practitioner specifically with SEN children in either a term time only or an all-year round role. We have a variety of positions available for different times and days, so please call us to find out more information.
This is a temporary role until the end of the summer term, with the possibility of extending or the opportunity to move into various different roles as and when they become available.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality learning, development, and care activities that meet the individual needs of children.
Observe, assess, and record children's progress and achievements.
Build strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure the nursery is a safe and stimulating environment for children.
Adhere to all safeguarding policies and procedures.
Requirements:
A recognised childcare Level 3 qualification.
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Previous experience working within Early Years.
Previous experience working with SEND children preferred, but not essential.
