Job description

Heyford Park School, for both primary and secondary students, opened in September 2013 and draws students from Upper Heyford, local villages and from Bicester. The school extends over two sites – the Officers Mess and the Specialism Campus.

We aim to know every one of our students well as individuals, providing an environment that allows them to achieve what they are truly capable of by promoting both academic progress and a ‘can do’ attitude. This is a fantastic opportunity to join Heyford Park School and become part of the ambitious SEND team. We are passionate about children’s learning and development, and look to help all to achieve to their full potential.

We are looking to appoint a motivated and skilled individual to join our SEND team to support students across the school. As well as being an administrator for the SEND department you will work closely with the SENCO, phase leads and Heads of Year, supporting students to re-engage in learning.

This role will include:

Administration support for the SENCO

Liaising with other professionals including the SEND team

Supporting pupils to re-engage in learning

Heyford Park School is based on a positive and caring community ethos with a reputation for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people. The school became an academy on 1 November 2021 and is part of the Eynsham Partnership Academy. In October 2023 the school was graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted.

The EPA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people/vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

This position is subject to appropriate vetting procedures including a criminal record check from the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) which will require you to disclose details of all unspent and unfiltered spent reprimands, formal warnings, cautions and convictions as part of the recruitment process
