Are you a hardworking, motivated, and caring individual with excellent administration and communication skills? We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Part-time SEND Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Key Qualifications and Skills:
● Excellent administration and communication skills.
● Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
● Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & Google Docs.
● Strong prioritisation and accuracy skills.
● Flexible approach to the role.
Advantages (Experience and Training):
● Working knowledge of SEND is beneficial, and training will be provided to enhance your understanding.
● Opportunity to support the implementation of Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Individual Provision Maps (IPMs).
● Experience with Arbor and Google is advantageous, but training will be provided.
● Training and mentoring to support your role in administrative tasks related to SEND.
● Involvement in the collaborative effort to reduce paperwork and streamline administrative processes.
● Opportunity to work closely with teachers and contribute to the improvement of outcomes for children with special educational needs and disabilities.

Working hours: 18 hours per week, Fixed Term, term time until 23 July 2024, Monday to Friday 9:30 - 14:00 (possibility of permanent thereafter)
Salary: Surrey Scale 5 Start Date: ASAP or when notice is served
