Area: Peterborough (PE1)

Salary: 90 - 105per day (varied depending on experience and qualifications)

Hours of work: Full Time/Part Time or temp

Monarch Education are looking for a Confident individual to join a successful Academy within the age groups of 4-16 based in Peterborough. The school has excellent facilities and a supportive senior leadership team that are committed to the progression of their staff and pupils alike

Graduates or any experienced background willing to take on a range of Teaching Assistant and Learning Mentor roles, if you're looking for a great opportunity to work with SEN pupils and gain classroom experience with the idea of moving into a teaching role in the future.

Applicants should have experience working with young people in any capacity, this could be as a Sports Coach, Dance Teacher, Scout/Guide Leader ect. We are looking for people who want to transfer their skills into a Teaching Assistant or Academic Role.

Requirements and responsibilities of the candidate:

• A strong team player, with excellent organisation and interpersonal skills, who is able to support and inspire children to learn
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working collaboratively in a dynamic and supportive environment
• The ability to adapt to an ever changing workload
• The readiness to learn and take on a new challenge
• Supporting the classroom teacher
• Monitoring pupil progress
• Working with students 1to1 or in small groups
• Behaviour Management
