Job Description

Step Teachers are currently working with an excellent Nursery School within Dagenham to find a SEND Nursery Assistant, for a part-time or full-time position. We offer competitive rates and amazing perks!

The SEND Nursery Assistant needs to be fully flexible, passionate and having nursery experience would be advantageous.

SEND Nursery Assistant Role:

• Provide one-on-one or within small groups.
• Assist with nursery management and create a positive and safe classroom atmosphere.
• Encourage student participation and engagement in nursery activities.
• Help maintain a clean and organised learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.

SEND Nursery Assistant Requirements:

• Previous experience working with young children, especially in a special educational needs setting, is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
• Willingness to collaborate with teachers and support staff.
• A commitment to creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
